Juboraj III review by Disappointed
If ever there was a restaurant living on it's past reputation and former glories then this is it. Originally, the Juboraj in Rhiwbina was what I would consider to be rather 'top end' of the scale. Always slightly more expensive than other's in Cardiff but well worth it for the quality of the meal, the service and the relaxed atmosphere. However, having visited on Friday night, it is clear that profit now becomes priority over quality and service. My party waited thirty minutes for a table, although we had booked weeks in advance, which gave us plenty of time to sample the atmosphere that resembled that of a school dining hall. We were eventually shoe-horned into a gap between other tables and eagerly awaited our meal. When it ecventually arrived, the concensus amongst us was that everything was a disappointment in that the food was tepid, bland and not very appealing and the waiter was indifferent to our comments when asked if everything was OK with the meal. The bill did not reflect the quailty or overall experience and I felt loathed to leave a gratuity. So, unless something changes dramtically, I shall not be visiting again.
