We just popped in with my friend, looking for a place to talk. We sat down on the comfy sofas in the library corner. We ordered teas and tried a coctail, because of the welcoming offer for 2to1 from 12pm to 8pm. The drinks were great, the atmosphere fantastic and the live music just added the extra touch for the place. You just feel welcomed in this place and that's a great feeling:) We will definately go back for dinner.

On the recommendation of this page I have just had Sunday lunch at The Mill. What a pleasure. Quite empty, though heaven knows why. The place is very clean, light and modern, with a well stocked bar, i enjoyed watching the barman making mint juleps or was it long island tea? I opted for Grolsh blond. The Sunday menu had a good choice and I started with the crab cakes, which had a delicious sweet spicy dipping sauce and plenty of crab. My main course was lamb (cooked perfectly) with roast potatoes, creamed swede, mange tout, red cabbage and cauliflower in bread sauce, the gravy was good too. Finished off with a slab of lemon cheesecake, which almost finished me off, thought i was going to explode, ever seen Monty Python's The Meaning of Life? 'just one wafer thin mint'. and the attentive waitress did ask if she could get me anything else. A beautiful meal and all for £17.05. I paid with a twenty and let her have the change, last of the big spenders me.

We had dinner here on Friday 22nd August after a recommendation from the concierge Marriott Hotel. We had the steak pie and the fish pie both very good. Fantastic bar, wicked cocktails, good service. Met the owners and they were very hospitable, thanks guys.

Decided to try this as it was recommended by my hotel conceirge. Apparently a new venue but you couldnt tell as everything looked very smooth. We ate yesterday afternoon (sunday) really pleased to find somewhere doing good honest sunday lunch and not running out by half three! Weekday menu looks great and if their sunday lunch is anything to go by this place will be packed once word gets out.
