They frequently send out special offers which makes it really fantastic value. Although vegetarians may find the choice limited.... Lovely dauphinois potato and delicious olives as well. The handsome waiter we had was charming, efficient and generally reminded us how often we are short-changed by shoddy service in restaurants.

As usual same brain's - bad food, staff look like their life is the worst thing that happened to them and in general not a pleasant experience

I'm surprised by the negative reviews as I have always enjoyed the food at Grape & Olive. Sometimes the service is a little slow but overally I am happy to recommend it to friends and have done so.
The food is nothing particularly special and certainly nothing fancy, but we always find it tasty, fresh and well-presented. Maybe we play it safe by sticking to pasta, pizza and risotto, but this works for us!
If I had one criticism it would be that the lighting is a bit bright to create a nice atmosphere but then I wouldn't consider this a 'date' place anyway!

my son booked a table today to take us to lunch we arrived as 1.30 to order and the waitress informed us that there we no sunday roast lunches left, i think this is appalling , needless to say we will be giving this place a wide berth in future.
