We walked in to spice quarter and asked if they were open for dinner at 6:30pm, then no one tried to seat us!!! after standing for a few mintues we walked to the middle of the resutrant and asked to be seated. Once seated 10 mintues later no one approched our table to take our order!!! So i walked to the main counter and asked for service. We finally placed our order and the food was pretty good. the lamb was overcooked and the service in general was unacceptable.

we a group of 20 people went to spice quarter, since we were there for a birthday party of one of our friend therefore we asked for a private function room. Staff was very accomodating and polite. They immediatly gave us a function room which is very elegant. Few of us ordered starters and than main course. Lamb chops were out of the world and curries were very authentic. Generally you do not get authentic curries in all so called indian restaurants. All of us enjoyed the food and the fantastic service. We will definatly be back. Thanks to all.

Went to this restaurant 10th July at about 8pm with a group of 10. I must say I was totally unimpressed. I eat at a lot of curry restaurants all over the country and this place is well down the list of places to visit. The service was good and the staff pleasant but the food was 2nd rate. We had popodoms and chutneys for everyone, they supplied one small chutney tray for the whole table of 10! I'm not joking, but there was not enough chutney for 4 never mind 10. I had the lamb chops to start, these where OK, but certainly nothing special. I went for the North Indian garlic chilli chicken main which was lacking in chicken and the sauce was just a thick mush that must have been prepared hours before. It was hardly possible to make out any individual flavours in the dish. The mushroom rice was fine although a little sparse on the mushroom front. The people in the group who had the chicken tikka masala all claimed that it was far too hot for them. The surrounding were nice, but this place is not worth the money - go somewhere else.

Went after a show so quite late. Got a table very quickly. The meals were good although rhe popadoms and dips did not arrive. To their credit we were not charged and were offered free drinks.
All in all a nice resturant although the prices, we found, were not justified by the food.

We went to this restaurant yesterday evening for a meal. We eat indian food all of the time so we know a good meal when we get it. I have to say after forking out £65 for a mixed starter for 2 and 2 main meals, and 2 half pints of beer, it hurt. It is probably the worst indian food we have ever had. Tiny portions, which we don't mind as quality rather than quantity is best, but the food was totally lacking in flavours. The service was good and it's very swanky, but overall we give it a thumbs down for food.
