The evening started with such promise as I waited for my table in the sunshine, with a big band crooner providing the entertainment. I should have left after that! We had booked a table for 11 of us and we all agreed that this restaurant had the worst service we had ever seen - the waiters looked as if they would have rather be anywhere else, and none could muster as much as a smile. The food was fine, but we chose not to stick around for dessert - they simply did not deserve any custom
