I think the other two people here are easily pleased. Don't get me wrong, I've eaten here a couple of times and the food is ok if you are expecting bog standard pub food. It is good value but not the place to impress someone.
Family orientated with little (but not offensive) atmosphere. I'll eat there again next time I really can't be bothered to cook. (there are no take aways in llanishen).

My friends, family, collegues and I have been visiting the Ty Glas for over 2 years. Whether it is for a quick lunch or an evening meal we all love the food. It is not only great value for money but it has always been lovely. The staff are efficient and friendly and there is a wonderful welcoming atmosphere. We will continue to drink, eat and socialise at the Ty Glas.
