The Swallow

I really do love this restaurant, it's one of the best Chinese places in the UK in my opinion. It's a small takeaway but the atmosphere is nice, and it seems to be very clean. The people are so friendly and willing to answer any queries. Most importantly, the food is great! I love special fried rice and they have the best in Cardiff. Everything else is good too. They're also willing to amend the orders (I don't eat red meat, so they'll prepare the dish without it for me). It's affordable too, essential for students like myself. I recommend this restaurant to everybody who ever says they feel like eating Chinese!

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've eaten in, bear in mind that I've been to Hong Kong and San Fransisco (second largest chinese population outside of China )

The owner and staff are very friendly, and the food is amazing. You may pay a little more than your average chinese restaurant, but it's definately worth it.

I recommend their Kung Po prawns and Singapore spare ribs as two dishes that will send you taste buds wild.

I've moved away from Cardiff now, but allways pop in there when I come back.
