Thai Thai Restaurant

The Thai Thai is by far the nicest Thai restaurant in Cardiff- the food is fresh, and authentic. You won't get the usual Anglo-Chinese take-away style food and it is quality rather than quantity.

I would recommend this restaurant if you want decent Thai food rather than the slop you get in most asian style restaurants in south wales.

Absolute diaster!

They have tried to make it upper class but unfortunately the food is well below standard.

Very much on the expensive side. We decided we would skip starters and have mains and a dessert. Well after the mains arrived, you would think they were feeding the stomach of a 3yr old child. It would have been about average size if it was a starter dish. Food was revolting, im really not convinced i got what i ordered and left a vile taste in my mouth, my partner ordered a prawn dish that was even smaller in portion size than mine! So we skipped the dessert, left and went to Minas and we were still so hungry we had another main and dessert there. Will never return and you'll be mad to try it!

This is my favourite restaurant in Cardiff

I always feel like I have had a special night out when eating there

Having eaten in many Thai restaurants in Uk and abroad including Thailand this is one of my favourites

So many restaurants are good for a number of years but don't keep the same standards, I think it is 10 years this year since I first went there and it has never disappointed me

This has been a favorite Thai restaurant for a few years but was disappointed with a recent experience. Don't know why. The soup was very ordinary. The food was not as good as it was in the past. There were only 3 groups but it took for ever to serve. Disappointed.

Nice place, wasn't too busy when we went on a Friday evening. Food was good and not silly prices. The food was a little more fresh and lively than other similar establishments with a few nice twists to the standard Thai theme. Would visit again.

We have been searching for a good thai restaurant in Cardiff and we have finally found one! The Thai Thai Restaurant was excellent! The Staff were very welcoming, polite and made sure you got the best from your visit. The food was exceptional and the most authentic thai food we have tried in the UK since our return from traveling around Thailand. The food is well worth the money and we will definitely return.
