Thai House

I've had some good meals here, but I've had some disappointing ones too...the cooking seems to be a bit variable, and to be honest the last time I visited I think value for money was pretty poor considering the mediocre offering of greasy tempura and sparse, poor quality fish 'chunks' which were my main. Phad Thai remains a good quality standard, but my fellow diners rated the poussin and black bean beef as only 'ok'.

As always a lovely welcome at the Thai House. Good service and delicous food. The maasaman curry is a must.

A genuienly authentic Thai experience. Excellent food - a mixture of local Welsh produce and fresh Thai herbs and vegetables - and deserts to die for! Good wine list.
Friendly and efficeint service, in sophisticated yet not too formal a setting.
Cardiff is limited for good places to eat but the Thai house is consistently at the top.

The summer lunch menu was great value for money and I look forward to going back in the evening to sample a wider range of their authentic Thai cuisine.

Thai House used to be a dining experience to savour. In recent times the service and standards have slipped. It seems they have been a victim of their success. Too busy.
However the crispy tamarind duck is absolutely superb.

Very disappointing - curries were bland and the starters tasted like they had come out of the freezer. The pancakes with toasted coconut and peanuts were delicious.

Good service, good location, and mouth watering cuisine...
Satay chicken is a must...
Parking can be a pain but never a dispointment once youve entered the world of the "The Thai House "
