What a load of rubbish! Paid £30 and the only thing we enjoyed were the 2 bottles of coke. Honestly, hand on heart, the worst food I have ever eaten. Please do not eat here, you will be dissapointed! Bad bad bad.

The 'food' served in this restaurant is NOT edible. This place is seriously atrocious. I was served a plate of goo which I immediately informed the manager I would not be eating. She then told me I would have to pay because it was not her fault that i didn't like the look of the so-called food. The bill was then immediately produced, charging us for everything (which we hadn't even touched!). Of course, we did not pay for the food we did not eat. The management treated my girlfriend and I like dogs.

During our terrible experience here we also saw other customers making complaints about the quality of 'food' and service. A party of 4 left without paying and another 2 just paid for their drinks. DO NOT EAT HERE. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT SERVE REAL FOOD.

Do not go to this restaurant

It is NOTHING like what it used to be following its recent refurbishment

The buffet menu is way overpriced (£15 a head) for a selection of repetitive oversalted dishes with thick sauces.

The price we paid tonight (for one of the worst meals I've ever eaten in a Chinese restaurant) could've paid for a luxurious meal in a "proper" Chinese restaurant.

Had a takeaway from here and the food wasn't very good at all - seems like they use the cheapest, lowest quality ingredients they can find. Maybe you could slightly forgive them if the food was reasonably priced but they're not even that cheap. We only tried the Chinese parts of the menu, so can't comment on the Thai food, but would definitely not recommend. Was a big disappointment!

This is our favourite restaurant in Cardiff without a doubt - so much so that they catered our daughter's wedding!

The newly-refurbished restaurant on the ground floor is smaller and more intimate than the previous room upstairs and the food is just as delicious as it ever was.

Chinese, Thai and Malaysian influences mix very well. We recommend the Mee Goreng and Nasi Kari Ayam in particular from their Sunday Lunch Kampung Menu but as a previous reviewer said the £15 Adventure Menu is great value and the starters are delicious. The wind-dried duck in plum sauce is wonderful too.

It's not the Ritz but the folk are friendly and this is great food for the price - tremendous value.

I went here recently and was quite disappointed. Firstly, the interior decor is hideous. The yellow lighting makes your fellow diners look ill and the food rather unappealing. The menu is confusing and service not brilliant either. The staff working there seemed rather unenthusiastic and appear to have no customer service training. Food was delivered in a staggered approach. One person had finished before another had been served. The chicken soup took about 30 mins, which was suprising as it appeared to be made from powder which hadn't even been properly dissolved.

The upstairs restaurant is large and seems a more suitable venue for a rugby club's Christmas meal out rather than an intimate evening. OK for large groups, but not recommended for people who appreciate good food or those with mobility problems as the first floor restaurant is rather inaccessible. Much better places in the Cathays area.

My partner and I dine here several times a month- we always do the discovery menu which is £15pp, that includes as many starters as you desire, 2nd course is one choice of either soups or crispy duck pancakes, and then with 2 dining you can chose up to 5 main courses.

We have never ever had a bad experience here, the food is beautiful and the duck is delicious.

In fact we have been there so often they don't even have to ask us what drinks we want!

Admittedly there is a waitress there who could be a little more friendly, but other than that the service is fantastic, it is usually quiet.

In our opinion there is no other chinese in Cardiff that could come near to here.
