This place started out so well when it was first opened but there's been a sea change. The food is perfectly acceptable but the portions are diminutive. You would do better elsewhere with a generous portion of peanuts from a bar with your drink or a helping of bombay mix while you wait for your curry in one of the local 'Indians!'
In order to have a satisfying meal you are going to have to order many tapas and the final bill will be very disproportionate.
Popularity for this place seems to have gone down. Its often nearly empty in the day time.
Only thing to commend it is its city centre location. if you your purose is to go out for a Spanish eating experience specifically dont do this one.
Best for Tapas - and they really are sublime and well priced and shareable!! is Terra Nova, Mermaid Key Cardiff Bay. Terra Nova does other things as well, its more of a brasserie. I recommend it.

the atmosphere is great and the sangria even better! the food is generally very nice, however the portions are extremely small and somewhat expensive. Great for a night out with friends to just snack and drink sangria!!

Have always had great food here. Plenty of choice for vegetarians. It's easy to over order though as the portions are quite large. Appeals to me as I love tasting lots of different dishes. Great sangria too.
