Its a great place to eat if you like rude service. Also not the best place to eat if you are allergic to nuts or to any other food. The dessert menu is really helpful and states at the bottom: All our dessert may contain TRACES of nuts. You would think ordering raspberry meringue you'd be pretty certain that this dessert would NOT have nuts...yet huge chunks of nuts were found in two of these desserts. Suggesting to the manager that it may be useful stating this particular dessert actually has nuts and not traces, I was fobbed off and ignored. I don't think I will ever return to this restaurant again especially as there are so many more friendly restaurants in penarth with excellent customer service.

A good reliable restaurant, pleasant staff, now good management, great ambience together with the location overlooking the bay. Wines good bit pricy.
