Kismet Tandoori Restaurant

Ordered food from this restaurant and found their service to be absolutly appalling. The food arrived and was stone cold! after phoning them back to tell them about this was argued with on the phone and past from pillar to post! was told that we would have to wait another hour for our delivery. I think that it is absolutely disgusting and will never be using it again.

been several times to this restaurant. Very cheap, which is why i think they put fillers in the food - we always feel full despite portions being small- compared to other places. We love our indian food and have tried many places.

TBW and associates regularly dine at the Kismet and consider it to be one of the finest establishments City Road has to offer. I have dined at Gordon Ramsays restaurants and I consider this to rank alongside them.
At the end of the day its a fiver for 4 courses so if you want to complain about it you should have a good look at yourself and then consider winding your neck in. True dat.

Although we are infrequent visitors to Cardiff, when in town we (wife & family) always make for the Kismet on at least one of our nights there. Try comparing it to Wetherspoons just up the road for service value and quality and you'll find Kismet comes out on top. Keep it up lads

The Band of Brothers, Cardiff have been using the Kismet in City Road, Cardiff for 3 -4 months for social meetings. The kitchen is clean, the service is excellent, and the food is fantastic. Our last meeting saw 37 of us eating and enjoying our food. We would be more than willing to recommend The Kismet to everyone and anyone. You can't find a better meal for £5.00 anywhere else.

I discovered Kismet 5 years ago and eat there on a regular basis.
Always had good food, never ever suffered from Dehli Belly at the Kismet, that's a big plus as far as I'm concerned.
Service is always good, and for value £5-00 for a 4 course meal is hard to beat, unless you count their BOGOF wine, or their eat as much as you like daytime buffet for £2-50!
We take the bus more often than not, as after a bottle of wine each, driving is not recommended!

Visited here with a group of colleagues 2 weeks ago. Usually love curries. This was by a long way the worse Indian restaurant I have visited. Service was rude, and food "glowed" with all the colourings.

I have been using the Kismet Curry House since 1968, when it was called the Karachi. The present restaurant is clean, the food is fresh and well cooked and the staff are helpful and friendly. They bend over backwards to be helpful and i can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal. The menu is extensive and the price is unbelievably inexpensive. Working all around the UK for some seventeen years I have eaten in many Asian restaurants but none as good as the Kismet.
I am so impressed with the food, atmosphere, staff and price (where elas can you get an excelnt four course meal for £5) that I have taken people from all over Wales and many areas of England and Scotland to dine at the Kismet and they all agree with me that this is surely one of the best, if not the best Asian restaurants in Wales.
