I hadn't been to the Juboraj in Rhiwbina for quite a while. Unfortunately I wont be going back for a while after last night. I booked a table for 8.30pm but after we arrived they kept us sitting by the bar for 15 minutes even though the restaurant was nearly empty and there were plenty of tables free. The food was not up to the high standards you expext of the juboraj. The prawn cocktail starter had way to much sauce and not enough prawns, however the onion bhaji and prawn puri were nice. As for the main course it was a bit of a cock up. The prawn madras I ordered was prawn curry and my partners chicken curry was chicken madras.
On a positive note the wine and beer are quite cheap!

The service is the worst I have ever experienced in my life, took 2 hours for the main course to arrive, half the dishes were called and many of the side dishes were not what we ordered.
Absolutely terrible.

Marvellous food, Service was good. They were rushed off their feet, after the rugby. Would definately be going back.
