one of the finest meals available in cardiff.

Don't come here expecting large portions,but come expecting the most perfectly cooked food possible.

meltingly tender cuts of meat cooked to perfection and simple but classy starters.

Having eaten in both Gallois and the Patagonia I have to say I prefer the latter. Almost everything about it is perfect. The setting is more intimate than Gallois, the service is just as good and it's much better value for money.

The only thing I would say is they could do with revamping the toilet.

I ate here on a Saturday evening recently. The food was absolutely delicious. The produce was of a very high quality. The scallops and meat were perfectly cooked, the puddings were as fresh as anything. A lot of care had gone into the preparation and the cooking. The wines were very reasonably priced. The service was warm and easy (although the restaurant itself could have been a bit warmer). Definitely the best restaurant that I've been to in Cardiff and good value for money.
