Tenkaichi Sushi & Noodle Bar

I ate here with my girlfriend, who had been reccomended it by some friends.

It's a small place in the middle of city road, and doesn't look like anything amazing from the outside, but it has to be tried to be believed.

The seating is traditional japanese style (low seats/tables where you will be sitting by people you don't know, as it's always quite busy) but the food and the service was amazing. I had a tray of mixed vegitarian dishes, and my girlfriend ordered seperate items off the sushi menu. Everything was extremely nice, and I stuggled to stop eating even though I was full

The service was absolutely faultless. Drinks orders were out to us within 5 minutes (and that included cocktails) We even changed our food order 3 times, and it was still out to us within 15 minutes, and the waitress didn't batter an eyelid.

Food and drink prices were very reasonable, and they even wrapped up our leftovers for us to take home. Can't fault it.

Had a meal on new year's eve. Food was good but the decor lets it down. We used our sat nav to locate the restaurant but couldn't believe we'd arrived. If you want quick service and tasty food - this is the place but if you want to relax and enjoy your meal in comfortable surroundings - find somewhere else.

Absolutely superb sushi and ramen noodles also. Ver happy when one of the waitresses (might have been the manager!) took time out to talk me through all the dishes. Have recommended to friends who all have thanked me for telling them about this little gem. Well done Tenkaichi.
